Is anyone familiar with the file sharing programs edonkey2000 and overnet.

Some guy that does computer work for me downloaded on my computer , and raves about it.... to me it looks complicated and doesn't have the quantity of files of Kaazaa?

Kazaa is way better and easier to use. I deleted eDonkey cause alotta the files i searched for could'nt be found.

That is true, but kazaa has a bunch of spyware and bundles. Hmmm diet kazaa is better :D

There's KaazaaLite, which doesn't have spyware. I've tried eDonkey isn't the greatest program. I tried it and it is too complicated for me.

Forget Kazaa! It is too problematic. I use a program called DC++, which allows you to go into hubs and view users files just like Windows Explorer. Plus, it is not plagued by problems like Kazaa is, and you can go into hubs with specific purposes (games, jazz, classical, and so on). You only have to volunteer some of your files to be shared and others do the same. There are usually limits that you need to share in order to get into certain hubs. I had way to many problems with eDonkey. Mainly was the speed. It is incredibly slow.
