...And when my dishes got dirty, I got cascade
When the weather was hot, I got a spot in the shade
I'm wise 'cause I rise to the top of my grade
Wanted peace on Earth, so to God I prayed
Some kids across town thought I was afraid
They couldn't harm me, I got the army briggade
I'm not a trader, if what you've got is greater I'll trade
But maybe later cause my waitor made potato alligator sufflaid..

Okay, who can finish this off?

Hey! Is this a trick question or something? If memory serves me correctly, that's the last verse...after that it's just, "I got it made" I think.

That's the song btw...I Got it Made - Special Ed http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif

Oh, was that the last verse!? No, it wasn't a trick question. But that would have been a good idea. hehe. That was an awesome song! That whole album was really good from Special Ed... The first time I heard this song (I was lucky enough to be recording) it came on right before Big Daddy Kane's "Warm It Up, Kane".. What a MIX that was! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif ...The Saturday Night House Party

Yeah, you're right. I mean artists like Slim Shady do have some catchy songs.. But it's just not the same.. Even The Chronic and Doggystyle are great albums - but it's a different type of music. It doesn't have the same feel as music did in the 80s.

Let's compare with the times. I would say that Lyrics of Fury and Follow the Leader would fall into the gansta rap catagory of the 80s.. Now that had the rythmn that made it mixable.. Right? (Rakim and Eric B is it?)
