Here in the UK last month Belinda Carlisle featured in a reality tv show called Hells Kitchen with a number of other celebrities to be trained as professional chefs within so many weeks. One of the other celebs was Matt Goss from 80's band Bros who became the closest to Belinda during the show. She did well but I think was the first person to be voted out the kitchen.

Ya know, I did love the GoGo's, BUT I tend to prefer Belinda Carlisle's solo stuff...

I was such a fan of the go-gos when I was...how old was I in their heyday? 7. I like some of Belinda's solo stuff, too.

When I was 15, I worked at an amusement park in a restaurant close to the stage where she was giving a concert. I couldn't see anything but I got to clean up all the messy goo (to this day I never eat fast food tacos) while listenin gto her concert.

My English Teacher in 9th grade (who also was the Football Coach, go figure) told me she went to my school and he taught her in a class. I thought that was pretty cool.

I have always had a thing for Belinda. As for her music, she was much better after the gogo's split.

Belinda is currently involved in the European "Here and Now" tours with other wonderful 80's singers like Kim Wilde. She also does live dates once and awhile with the Go Go's. She is releasing a new CD in 2005 of what she called "french style music".

I always thought it was strange.. The Go-Go's were successful in America, but not in the UK. When the 90's came, Belinda became more successful in the UK than the US

I still love all of her songs though :thumb:

i went on Belinda's tour this year in the uk norwich,manchester,runcorn,bognor and wolverhampton. she was awesome and i met the lovely lady myself.she's doing go gos stuff over the next couple of months and then solo stuff in south africa backed by shelley preston from bucks fizz.cheers james :bouncy:

Ya know, I heard she was on "Hell's Kitchen" on British TV. I'm watching the American version now and I love it! I'll have to find some downloads of the British version to watch Belinda take Ramsay's wrath.

She was a great singer... She did some good stuff after the GoGos... But then the 90's came and she dissapear from the USA charts. :no:

I always thought Belinda was great solo too. I know she has released a few greatest hits albums and has done a few tv appearances. It would be great to see what she has been doing this year too. Cheers

As she was mine, and COUNTLESS other men as well. She still looks amazing too. I believe she lives in England or France, and the GoGo's are working on a new disc.

She came to Australia as part of the "Here And Now tour", that was a few years ago. She still looked good and sounded great. Yes she has great eyes and i think the Playboy issue she featured in turned out to be one of their biggest selling issues. I also believe that she was in her 40's when she did that.:thumb:
