I went with one crazy summer. how can you go wrong with booger from Revenge of the nerds, Bobcat Goldthwait in his glory days and a young Demi Moore
maybe not as classic as Better off dead, but a true laugh riot!
That lil girl and her dog killed me!

he was easily at his bests in the 80s... too much dramatic actually and do movies that almost everyone never heard like Max, Identity... I don't like his new stuff!!

Say Anything. Great movie, plus, the movie has Ione Skye and that great scene with the boom box and "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel. One of my teenage guilty pleasures.

Better Off Dead for real!! After I saw that movie, I actually moved to Germany and lived there for 10 years (never did find 'Monique', though!! I got dumped in the same manner, believe it or not.). Cusack was my hero after that movie!

'Better Off Dead' by far. My favorite (along with 'Valley Girl') '80s movie. If you don't know, a guy tracked down Lane's 1968 Camaro and has restored it to the condition it was seen in the movie. Read and see it at betteroffdeadcamaro.com. As you can tell, I am an early Camaro fanatic :D .

 Better Off Dead
I could say many things about this "10" film, but the things that come to mind are...

"That's a waste of a perfectly good white boy!"
"Do you know what the street value of the mountain is?"
and "Sorry your Mom's face blew up Ricky."

Ultimate cult and non-cult classic piece of filmwork! :thumb:

Well I'm probably one of the few people on the planet who hasn't seen Say Anything so I voted for the Sure Thing which I love. I love how annoyng yet lovable he is in it and I think he and Daphne Zuniga had great onscreen chemistry :thumb:

I like the film he did, please can you tell me which one it was, where his girlfriend leaves him and he has all these reminders of her, like her face on his coat hangers. It had the scruffy bloke who was always in the Nerds films. Which one was it, i'd love to know it's name so i can watch it again.

I went with Say Anything. One of the many 80's dvds in my collection. Better Off Dead would be 2nd choice.

BETTER OFF DEAD! HANDS DOWN!

(To be spoken in a bad Howard Cosell imitaion) "Lane Meyer...The kid from Greendale...I don't know...no longer the drive...the desire to win...

"It's an awesome spectacle...An audacious display of seething opponents, once again parallel in an obstinent attempt to prove superiority of the roads... unequaled... in our lifetime.......The crowds swell in anticipation as the light...turns green!"

"Truly a sight to behold.. The man, beaten...The once great champ...now a study in moppishness...No longer the victory hungry stallion we've raced so many times before. But a pathetic, washed-up aged ex-champion..."

"Language lessons...Inspired words from a man who knows how to ski."

I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!
