Hello,
Just wanted to say that I saw Jesus Jones play at a club in NY last night and it was an EXCELLENT show. Despite my initial thoughts about them being 'has been' band, they were and are anything but that. I liked their music back in the very early 90's a great deal but they seemed to vanish and hadn't resurfaced in some time. The last album they recorded before the one coming out this year was in 97..and I had lost touch by then.
Well, I was so pleasantly suprised by the set last night. Mike Edwards voice sounded amazing and they played tracks both old and new..one of the best old tracks that they did was "Who, Where, Why'. There was a certain dynamic and stage presence that they had which propelled the show and made it a lot of fun to watch. They have a new record out called 'London' and the stuff I heard off it sounded great. Anyways, just wanted to share a snippet of my feelings on the show.
