Hey All, I just wanted to let you know that INXS has recorded their first song in 6 years! The song is called,"I GET UP" The cool thing is that EA Sports is going to release it on their 2004 Rugby video game coming out on Sep. 22. You can listen to the song on INXS.com, it ROCKS!!! :D

I don't know. INXS without Michael Hutchence? It just wouldn't be the same.

I agree about INXS without Michael Hutchence just isn't the same. I will look into the song, but it just wont be the same as it was with Hutchence in there

Yeah, Michael Hutchence is what made the group fun. I couldn't imagine another singer on something like, say, "New Sensation".

I don't really like INXS, but i'm willing to at least listen to about everything to give my sayso. INXS are greatly missing Michael Hutchence on this one. Still sounds like the same old band but I don't think it will go far without Hutchence. I giv'em a big A for effort.

Inxs have been touring since the death of Michael Hutchence in '97. The new lead singer is good and sounds a bit like Michael, but I agree with everyone's sentiment that it just isn't the same...

I'm interested to hear the new lead singer and hear what they sound like now with this new guy. Like most others I don't see it being INXS anymore without Michael Hutchence.

In general I think Joy Division had a good idea after their lead singer died by just disolving that band and making up a new band and new name (New Order) even 'tho it was the same guys minus one. So many are afraid to lose the band name recognition. It doesn't do much good to have the name if the quality isn't the same. AC/DC is an exception to the rule for bands by not totally sucking after the loss of their lead singer.

Isn't the new singer John Stevens? He had an OK solo career in oz in the 90's
