View Full Version : Why our justice system is CRAP...

If you live in the NY area, chances are you know where Rye Beach Playland is. If not, it's where the "Zoltar" machine was in "Big" and the amusement park where the roller coaster scenes from "Fatal Attraction" were filmed.

Anyway....they used to have a clown working there who called himself "Saturday". His specialty was folding balloon animals, or so it seemed.

Someone in the RBPL management discovered that Saturday was a twice convicted child molestor. He was promptly fired. Smart move, seeing as alot of kids go to the park!

Well....our lovely legal system has ruled that RBPL must hire Saturday back, and on top of that PAY him $2,500 because "his rights were violated".

Do you believe this utter pile of steaming horseshit? So now, against their will, RBPL has a child molesting clown working for them! Think this will hurt business?

I for one will never go to RBPL again, because if I ever see "Saturday" I don't know if my actions could be restrained. Maybe he should change his name to "Gropey the Clown".

Sometimes I wonder how we ever came to be the dominant species on this planet. :6ohboy:

Yep I do.

I haven't been there in a few years, but just knowing this means I'll never go there again.

His "rights"? Since when must child molesters have rights?!?

Shouldn't the park have investigated this matter fully before they hired him in the first place? Seems to me they could have, and then just not hired him. They could put out flyers at the park: "Park officials have found that Saturday the Clown has been convicted twice of child molestation. Due to Saturday's lawsuit against the park for firing him, the judge ordered RBP to hire him back. We urge you to keep your children in sight and away from Saturday at all times." That should embarrass him enough to quit on his own....or maybe a 'concerned citizen' could anonymously drop the flyers all over the park......

Val...you are violating his rights again...

Okay, seriously:
This is a slap into the face of every molested child and their parents.

They caught him twice...heaven knows how many times he had molested other childs who hadn't spoken about what happened to them yet.

I'm sorry, but I have absolutely no understanding for children molesters - lock them away for life and throw the keys to their cells into the deepest available hole, that's my opinion.

I'm not surprised by these events. Our judicial system has needed a complete overall for years. More and more they worry about the Rights of the convicted and less about potential victims.
It's really sad.

The only "rights" a child molester should have is the right to be tortured and to die of a slow painful death...

**in best Beavis impersonation** yeah, yeah... use the tazer... THE TAZER! Zap him... zap him in the balls

Seriously though... that is a disgusting scenario. How can any sane person place a molester in a place frequented by children. Disturbing bullshit doesn't begin to describe this one...

They have more rights than the victims remember? That's always the case.

I hope a lot of people will know about this guy and we'll get some vigilante justice. I hope that bastard's life is made a misery by all the people who know of him.

I agree woith Val, The park should have investigated before they hired him. Now that he is hired back the locals need to make his job miserable any way they can. :sneaky:

*****UPDATE*****

He has not been hired back....but the court is still making Rye Beach Playland pay him the $2,500.

They are appealing it.....hope they win.
