There's a guy where I used to live...in his late 20's no less....who drove a Nissan Sentra that had a HUGE "Starfleet" logo in each side window, a "Starfleet Academy" sticker across the back window. "NCC-1701" muraled onto each fender, and a license plate that read "BOLDLY GO".

First time my wife saw that was when we pulled up next to him at a red light, she leaned out the window and said "Don't get laid much, do ya?"

Actually, the basics of this rolling junkyard was a Skoda 110 Rapid Coupe, built in Czechoslovakia during the years of the Iron Curtain. The layout is similar to the good old VW Beetle, with an aircooled four-banger in the rear.

This "product" was made in Hungary...a German technical inspector would suffer from diarhorrea, cramps and a brain stroke on the spot if such a car would ever dare to roll into the garage... :D

Anyone ever hear of the Bricklin. made between 74-76 in the province of New Brunswick (just a little over 2000 were made) . It had a Ford 351 engine (Windsor). Besides the body all the other parts are from US manufucaturers (Ford and AMC).

There is one in my town. I see it every so often.

My question is, if you are going to go through all the time and expense to try to create a "Ferrari", why in Hell would you make it YELLOW? I don't get that at all--and then, if you notice, the model number on the back is just those little gold stick-on numbers that people usually use on mailboxes, and around the Ferrari emblem on the back on the closeup, you can see all the paint blobs from a less than spectacular paint job (Uh oh, better NOT get Maaco!) I think I will get a Ferrari emblem for my Subaru wagon, see if I fool people!

And the "Porsche"--it's so full of crap that it's just ugly, way too overdone. If you were trying to fool me, I would just look at that and think you need to clean your car every couple of years.
