This might seem like a strange topic for the Dance forum. I just got the new Madonna single, and it struck me how she's always been able to hit it with DJ's.
She has changed her music according to the dance scene since the very beginning. Going from bland 80's disco through house to techno/ambient like sounds.
Her remixes have always been very good indicators of what moved on the dancefloors.
But then again, it doesn't hurt to surround yourself with people like ambient innovator William Orbit and Mirwais. I heard that Artful Dodger is producing songs for her next album. I can't wait to hear how Madonna will sound as 2-step/garage music.
