What NFL coaches do you think are on the hotseat this year? Who has to prove something this year?

The ones that come to mind to me are: (in no particular order)

Mike Holmgren - the Seahawks aren't getting what they brought Mike to Seattle for, playoff seasons. He didn't produce much more after they divested him of the distraction of the GM job. With a healthy QB and Alexander at tailback, he better win some games or he'll be out.

Dave Wannstedt - Sorry, Pagan, but after missing the playoffs altogether last year, he has got too much talent on both sides of the ball not to make it deep into the playoffs this season. If he doesn't, management's patience will be tested.

Jim Fassel - (Sorry, Jasper) In what is overall a weak division, the Giants are the favorites. They MUST make it past the 1st round of the playoffs this year, or Jimmy's in trouble.

Jim Haslett - Even though these guys are in what is arguably the most competative division in the NFC, there is no excuse for a tem this talented not to at least get a wild card spot. Jim will have to address concerns on on defense and special teams this season or the Saints will lose, and they may lose him.

Your thoughts? Agree? disagree?

I agree on all counts Nolan. No need to apologize to me about Wanny. He made some dumb decisions last year, such as passing on all three downs in the NE game with 4 minutes left, an 11 point lead, and the league's leading rusher in the backfield.

I disagree on one thing, (sorry Jasper) how are the Giants the favorite in the NFCE??? I would think that distinction belongs to the Eagles, no?
