I just got home from their show in Costa Mesa and it was amazing. They had so much energy and Simon had a great time interacting with the fans. They played most of the staple old songs and three new ones which were pretty good. They ended with "Girls on Film" and the crowd went nuts!!!! It was a very well done concert. I had seen Duran Duran several times before but not with the original line up. They did several of the post break-up hits, Ordinary World, Come Undone, and even “White Lines”. The only song they didn't play which I really wanted to hear was "New Moon on Monday". The crowd was so into the concert it was just incredible. I wish I could go back and see them again tomorrow! It was a great night!!

You just gotta admire Andy Taylor behing the heartbeat behind the band, loved his work with Power Station too.

You are soooo lucky, lostboy! I wish I could have been there. I am waiting for them to come to Texas so I can see them. This will be my first time of ever seeing them. The closest I ever came to any kind of "Duran" concert was seeing The Powerstation in 1985 with Andy and John.

I am very envious of you, lostboy. ;) I am hoping they will make it out here to the D.C. area! I saw D2 back in either '85 or '86 (?) and they were fantastic! I remember standing in the 3rd row from the stage and I don't think I took my eyes off John Taylor the entire time! :D

Wow!! One of my nearest and dearest friends was at that concert. She called me the day she got the tickets. She was a freaking mess!! I haven't talked to her since the concert, but I know she had a blast. She's a regular at the Lizard King Duran Duran website and she met up with a bunch of her friends from there. They always have a good time when they get together.
