Hi Everybody,

Some time ago I completed a collection of MP3s representing every single song (not albums) to appear in the Billboard list of US pop singles during the 1980s. In other words this is every charting single of the 1980s.

This is about 4200 songs, and takes up about 17 Gigabytes. It fits on 28 MP3 data CDs, each disk up to 650 Megabytes each. These disks will play on MP3 players and computers but not ordinary CD players.

I would be willing to give out sets to anyone who would be able to copy over the MP3s to their own collection and then mail the original disks on to someone else.

This BTW, is NOT spam. He is serious about this. I know because I have a copy of the 28 discs. All you need to do is share the music with people on the mailing list. Come on everybody if you really are a fan of 80's pop music how can you NOT take an offer like this? 4,000+ singles of the 80's.

Also while you're at it, ask him about his collection of 80's album rock and modern rock songs which I also have recieved.

Wait, you have to copy them over to your hard drive? Well I like the idea of having all those songs, but I just don't have room on my hard drive. I'd really like it, but I'd have to keep the discs, unless that's a really big problem.

Thanks! I email him a few minutes ago!! I have a few cds and mp3 of 80s on my own but I didn't have a lot of his titles!! Hope one day i will have thoses CDs in my hands!! :D
