Roemello 7-12-03, 12:29 AM I haven't begun to really start grabbing soundtracks of the 80's....yet :D Did get two absolute necessities about a month ago...Footloose & Flashdance. The rest of my soundtracks are all 90's hip hop. Nothing anyone's interested in, I'm sure ;)
Although... through 'best ofs/greatest hits' and other various compliations I have, I probably got the vast majority of tunes off the better soundtracks anyway, so it's all good :D

They re-released the L.A.V. soundtrack just recently :)
I'm sooo getting that! I loved that soundtrack and the movie was pretty good. The girl in that movie was a hottie (Diane Franklin or something like that...) ;)

Jefferson Starship 8-10-03, 01:09 AM Rocky IV was really great aswell!
The only '80s soundtracks I have are Dragnet (1987) and Transformers: The Movie (1986).
I don't have any movie soundtracks that I can think of, I have a lot of greatest hits compilations taht have soundtracks within them.
tonepoet 9-26-03, 09:05 PM The only 80's CD's in my collection are:
Lost Boys (Still the best movie ever)
Repo Man (Great punk stuff)
Purple Rain (Not a weak song there! A Must-have)

Most of my soundtracks are a little bit different, like:
American Beauty
Twas the Nightmare Before Christmas
Snatch
The Truth About Charlie
Requiem for a Dream
A Clockwork Orange (watched that again last night)
Almost Famous
The Matrix
There's Somthing About Mary
The Wizard of Oz
I tend to like some different things, as far as soundtrack music goes, like Vangelis and other composers music. I have a bunch more, but they're somewhere around the house!
BlueMolly2001 9-27-03, 12:01 AM I totally forgot about:
It's a Sunshine Day: The Best of the Brady Bunch (I just got it recently from Strawberries used CD section when I was in Boston)
The Brady Kids (it's on vinyl)
The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper (both on vinyl, I would actually love to get both on CD, but I haven't found them anywhere)
I totally forgot I borrowed the Clockwork Orange soundtrack from my Mom. This movie totally freaks me out everytime I see it, but it's really well made. But ever since I've seen it, I can't listen to Beethoven's 9th symphony or "Singing in the Rain" without thinking of the movie. Also, I can't look at a plate of spegetti without thinking of the scene when the guy drugs Alex and Alex ends up falling asleep and his head hits the plate.
