I decided to list 10 of my all-time favorite new wave/synthpop records. Admittedly, many of these aren't recognized as "classics" and some are even fairly obscure; however, they are all for the most part void of filler and contain some really killer tracks.

I'd like to see everyone else's lists. I'll be the first to say I am no expert on new wave (or any type of music, really) and am always looking to expand my horizons.

Not a bad list. With Missing Persons I would of gone with "Spring Session M".

Good list. I love Pleasure Victim by Berlin and Dead Mans Party by Oingo Boingo too. I'd have to add albums from New Order and Howard Jones for my list. :D

I can only write from a music fan's point of view since I am far from expert when it comes to music as well. Having said that, New Wave/New Romantic/Futurist are my favourite genres of music :)
