In John's thread about the music video competition I got really passionate about Talk Talk being unfairly put against James Brown. Am I wrong in feeling this way? I know in competitions there are going to be times when things you like don't win, but I'm so passionate when it comes to Talk Talk. I want people to at least give the video a chance, but I might have sounded like a whiner. I'm just trying to give the band that I'm totally into a chance. Talk Talk is very underrated group and I wish more people would at least give them a chance. But I think I was out of turn, sorry about that.
Well if you want an honest answer.......yes. It is like the kid who doesn't get his way and he takes his ball home so no one else can play. Sorry Molly, but you asked......

Are you "Wrong in feeling this way?", you asked. No. It's the way you feel. Just dont make a mountain out of a mole hill. ;)

Lisa put it perfectly. Fact of the matter is, everyone has different tastes and aren't going to pick something else because it's someone elses favorite. The video tournament is meant for fun. Whatever happens in the end, c'est la vie. The important part is that it's fun comparing and remembering 80s videos while going through it. Definitely shouldn't be anything to get bent out of shape over...

You are right, Roemy. That's the trait I hate about myself, if I don't get what I want or if I see something not going my way I act like a little child. That totally puts people off (which I don't blame them, I'd do it too if I was on the other side). I've been trying so hard to stop acting so immaturely, but it sometimes is hard. I'm glad I could bring this up in here without feeling attacked, like I have in other groups. You guys are great. :)
