Simon just made me a CD of cheesy music. Most of the songs are from the 70s, but the two songs that totally stand out for me that are from the 80s and are IMHO VERY cheesy are:

Making Your Mind Up - Bucks Fizz
When the Loser Wins - Nick Berry (Simon Wicks from EastEnders)

I have no idea why Simon decided to make this CD for me, but I love it. A couple other songs on it are:

Devil Woman - Cliff Richard
Candle on the Water - Helen Reddy (I love this song, it's from Pete's Dragon)
Heaven on the 7th Floor - Paul Nicholas (I've wanted this song, because I LOVE Paul Nicholas)

I'm going to save this CD and play this CD this weekend. :)

I really love the "Devil Woman" song as well. :thumb: I have the 45 of that song. Every time I hear it I think of Rik on the Young Ones.

Jana, Paul Nicholas is a very underrated performer. I have his autobiography and he's had a very interesting life. He started out in a rock band and now producing, directing and acting in different movies. Even though this movie was a flop, I LOVE him as Dougie Shears in "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". Oh I melt when I hear him sing.

Molly... I found a cd not too long ago with him and others performing some ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER pieces. Pretty good! I'll have to look for his auto. Thanks for the info :)

Ah good ole Nik Kershaw. "Wouldn't it be Good" is one of my favorite shongs, I'm not sure it's totally cheesy, but it's close.
Now Bucks Fizz, now there's cheese. Any group that goes and competes on the Eurovision song contest and then almost does a strip show (the guys ripping the girls' skirts off is pretty kinky) is very cheesy.
