DURAN DURAN SCHEDULE FILLING UP:
Duran Duran continue work on their comeback - with a new studio album now delayed until next year, but a few things planned in the meantime to keep fans happy.
The original five members are celebrating the band's 25th anniversary by reuniting for a tour of the U.S. and Japan, with fans able to purchase CD recordings of the band's Japanese concert at the gigs. Duran Duran has cut a deal with music website TheMusic.com. Dubbed Duran Duran Encore Series, "the limited-edition, two-disc sets will be "complete, unedited recordings, taken and mixed each night from the soundboard," according to a press release.
The planned Singles Box Set is due out now, and re-issues of the band's previous albums are due in August.
There is also mention of a live DVD.
In related news, plans are underway for a re-issue of Andy Taylor's classic solo album, the melodic rock masterpiece Thunder, with possible bonus tracks

That would be so great to have Thunder with bonus tracks! That album is my all time favorite album.

<sarcasm>Duran Duran delaying an album? NO! I can't believe it! </sarcasm>

Have these guys put an album out on time since "Liberty"? Sheesh! Fine! Bring on "Thunder" then! And put "When the Rain Comes Down" on there as a friggin' bonus track!
