I forgot to mention this in the rumor mill section. The original Tesla lineup has reunited for a couple of dates in California! They intend to record these shows and release a live cd! If all goes well, at least one member of the band has expressed interest in recording a new album of all new material!

Hey, I hope they do release a new album. That would be really cool. What was their BIG song again? I forget.. It was in like 1989 or something, right? I love to see those old bands come back again. Especially since I didn't like them back then - I get to hear them for the first time nowadays. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif

Lets see Sal, I guess their BIG song would be "Love Song" and yes it was 89. They also had a couple of more songs that got some air play, "Little Suzi," "EZ Come EZ Go" and my favorite "Modern Day Cowboy." The last 3 are from their 86 album Mechanical Resonance. There are probably more, I'm sure someone will mention them.

Well, now I need to hear "Love Song". CDNOW has about 8 chords before it cuts off, so... Lemme go get it...

Let's not forget about "Heaven's Trail", and their acoustical jam "Signs", (that I really didn't care for)... I also liked "Edison's Medicine" "The Way It Is" and "Changes", but by far my favorite was "Modern Day Cowboy"... Good call TJ.

Tesla is back touring again after a 6 year absence. Also Jeff Keith,(lead singer of Tesla) is also in another band called Bar 7. They are awesome. They got that Tesla sound, but with a twist. It is welded in my CD player. Tesla has a website at www.teslaweb.com (http://www.teslaweb.com) and bar 7 is at www.bar7.com (http://www.bar7.com)
