Reportedly Peter Criss has pulled a power move and refused to complete the Farewell Tour if he doesn't receive an equal share of the remaining earnings from the tour. He has stated to Paul and Gene that if his earnings are not re-negotiated, his final show will be in Providence, which is only two weeks away. Paul and Gene called Eric and told him that if Peter leaves the tour, they are sticking Eric in his place. Worse yet, they have told him he will be wearing his makeup and outfit. >>

My Goddess....what the hell is Gene thinking! Pay Pete the money. After all, if it weren't for Ace & Peter, there'd be NO reunion tour. How much more money do Gene & Paul need? To put Eric in the Catman's costume would be a travesty. I would not attend the FINAL show here at Madison Square Garden is this happens.

I read that too. I love KISS, but to be honest, this news does not surprise me. KISS has always been about the money, the hit single, their image, etc. The decisions to put on the makeup, leave it on for as long as they did, take it off, put it back on for a reunion tour was all about money. Money has always been a source of tension in that band, even when Peter and Ace were out of the band. They got royalties from albums they didn't have anything to do with until the mid 80's (1986 was the last year of this, I believe).
Since this "news" is out, I don't think they will go through with it. That would make this the worst "reunion/ farewell" tour in rock history.
