I'm from the sticks, and I can tell you personally that the reasons that the truck won't start are most likely in amongst the following:

1 It's up on blocks in the front, back and side yards
2 A squirrel died in the breather filter
3 The engine is swinging from a tree
4 Bubba's been shooting at it to practice up for squirrel season
5 The old lady made a turnip planter out of the bell housing
6 It got rolled into the pond whilst we was giggin' fer frogs
7 Every single day someone stuffs a tater up the tailpipe, and every single time it's as hilarious as before
8 It's a Ford
9 The carb is full of terbacky juice from when Cletus was working on it
10 We don't know how to work the ignition (where's the crank thingy on the front, anyhoo?)
