The Threes Company Behind The Cameras movie is airing May 12 at 9pm. Is anyone here planning on watching it? I love the show and have so many great memories of it. I think this movie might ruin that. I'm not really sure I want to know what happened behind the cameras!

I may watch it if there is nothing else to do that night.

I used to watch that show all the time way back when :)...unfortunately, this special falls on a wrestling night, so no go for me :p Sounds interesting though...

I think if you saw the E! True Hollywood story on Threes Company, you will know all there is to know about it, and not need to miss wrestling!

Hey Roem, there's this thing called a video recorder....... ;)

If it comes on TV down here, I'll be sure to watch it..... or video record it if there's something like 24 or Survivor on the other channel.

There's also something called not being home when RAW starts and already recording that to begin with...can't record two at the same time :p

Fair enough. They need to invent a video recorder than can tape two programs at once.

From the previews I've seen, this film looks a bit hokey, so I'm not sure I'll be watching...

I plan on watching it or at least tape it if something else is on that I can't miss.

I saw the E! thing they did and now is hard to watch Threes Company and get the same out of it with knowing how much tension was actually there behind the scenes.

On camera they all seemed to love each other, but sadly that wasnt true.

Still happy that Nick at Nite finally shows it on a regular basis.
I hope The Ropers will also be shown one day.

Wow! After watching that movie last night, I understand what happened to Chrissy. I wondered back then why she suddenly disappeared. I had no idea. Suzanne Sommers and her husband kept claiming that she was the "star" of the show. I never felt that way about her. I always thought of John Ritter as the star, then maybe Joyce DeWitt. I never thought of Suzanne Sommers as the star. After she left the show, I quit watching though. Jennilee Harrison and Priscilla What's her name were HORRIBLE. I couldn't stand to watch the show decline.

I caught a few moments of last night's teleflick. I also felt that Three's Company lost most of its appeal after Suzanne Sommer's departure...

I never saw Suzanne as the star either, in fact I didn't even like her that much back then.

I've got it on VHS. It had a nice intro by Joyce Dewitt.

What I missed was a "Three's Company" 2 hour Special that featured recent interviews of the cast about the show. I had the VCR programmed... on the wrong channel. DOH! I think it was on VH1. Anyone has that to DivX and share?

I captured the 90 minutes show on the computer this weekend. The next step is to convert it to DivX in order to share it. I've tried a couple of times and it gives me a rather large file of 700mb with poor quality. I'll have to try a couple of methods.

You do have fast internet access, right?

Dude111

You can upload that to this site

http://www.up-file.com

NO FILESIZE LIMIT .... Just upload it standard quality, dont worry about DIVX (That wont run as well on many computers)

Got it. I'm still working on compressing it the best way I can. It takes a while, but I haven't given up :)

I watched it while capturing it. It was fun to watch again.

You can probably compress it 273kb WMV9 and it would probably be OK..

Either that or 1200kb WMV2 (Either would look good)

I have seen a 273k stream (wmv9) that looked perfect and a 1200k stream (wmv2) that also looked OK...... Its all the codec that is used.

Good luck :)

But would someone be able to decompress it to convert it to DVD?

I've seen some 2h30m DivX movies with almost DVD quality compressed at 700mb in 512x384. The best I got so far is 511mb at 320x240. I would have been satisfied at 512x384, but the current window is rather small at 320x240 for that file size.

I'd make a bunch of tests if it would take 2-3 minutes to generate, but it takes about 1 hour.

Well thats better than not seeing it at all i think!

Just go with that, upload the 511Megs and then we can watch it with our players :)

Thank you honey!

I've decided to go with a Torrent after all. With this method, the sharing is alive as long as someone is seeding. It's more available to the general public too.

Problem #1: I've never created a torrent before. This is my first try.
Problem #2: My computer is not always on. I turn it off at night and during the day between monday and friday.

That being said, try all day tomorrow (I'll make an exception) and this weekend. I've used http://www.torrent-downloads.to:2710/announce for a tracker (don't know if it matters to mention).

If you can't get it, I'll upload it to the site you mentionned.

Good luck!

Torrents are fantastic once you know them.

1- Download a client (search the internet. There are so many of them easy to use)
2- Go to http://mazlaz.hostingrapid.com/ and search for "behind camera" (full torrent name is "Behind the Camera-The Unauthorized Story of Three's Company")
3- Download the torrent
4- Open the torrent in the client you downloaded in step 1

Voila. That easy.

Like I said, I'll upload it to the site you mentionned if you can't do it.

Why cant you just upload it to the site i listed?? (Easier)

Torrents are not as accessible as the site i listed is!!!!

Seems strange you are so persistant for people to DL this torrent, perhaps you are working with these people

http://www.80sxchange.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51139

Seems strange...........

err... lets not get paranoid here.

I do not "persist" for people to download with Torrent. As I said, Torrents are much more public than a specific site since search engines go through a huge list of trackers to locate files. 3 people have downloaded the movie so far and that keeps my work alive.

Also, I said "I'll upload it to the site you mentionned if you can't do it.". That doesn't look like somebody who's forcing someone to use torrents.

So, now I'll respect my promise. Here's your file: http://s12.up-file.com/download3/0db705405182_89fzx1n6waec5wo0/Behind-the-Camera-The-Unauthorized-Story-of-Three-s-Company.avi
