I know it's early, but last year their was talk that the teams in the league may be able to keep 1 or 2 players from last years rosters. Personally I'd like to keep two, what is others thoughts, and Nolan whats your suggestion?

Can I get an overview of how it works? I'd like to join in this year.

I'm against that. Part of what makes this fun is not knowing who you'll have. Plus, if you had an insane points producer last year, let someone else have a shot at him!

I'm with Pagan half the fun is the luck of the draw.I had Faulk he screwed me good last year. The rest of my players sucked.

Try this Jessica http://www.geocities.com/xchangesports/xffl.html

You can find the rules overview at Yahoo fantasy sports or maybe Buc will post the league site at yahoo.

Well, I was for protecting one player. If I had my way, we'd be a keeper league by now, but I know that's not realistic.

My rationale is, if I draft a sleeper and he pans out one year, I can build my team around him in next year's draft. If I have to give him up, all the owners who passed on him the year before can pounce on him now that he's a known commodity.

I think that most everyone knows that you need a star player or two (usually a RB) to put your team on his shoulders and make big points each week. There are only so many of these. Why should I have to throw them all away?

That being said, this league is democracy (well mostly) :D We'll take a vote closer to the draft and we'll do what the majority wants.

Jessica, we'd love to have you join, we need a 12th team!
BTW, is everyone from last year coming back? Let's have a roll call!

I'm coming back,

I like the idea of a keeper league, but know thats not possible. My team was in the bottom of the pile, I have no runningbacks, but I do become somewaht attached to the team I drafted and thought by being able to protect one or 2 players, it allows you to sort of keep your core player's and build around it, maybe even make trading more common.

Well I'm coming back, if only to try and finish 2nd last this time

Whatever the majoirty want on this, I'm happy with. My Team wasnt that good but I wouldnt mind keeping one or two players off it!

Not a bad idea, but I think I would like to start out fresh with a new team.

I can't wait for the season to start!!! I'll be back. If we have twelve or ten teams this year why can't we start a keeper league? There are many options out there.
