WWE severs relationship with Jeff Hardy


WWE.com regrets to inform its fans that WWE has severed its relationship with Jeff Hardy. We wish Jeff the best of luck.


Would love to know the exact reasons for this. He was so popular with the fans.

acutally i heard it was suppose to be a mutual decision. Jeff wasn't happy with the way he was being used (apparently it was rumored that he was later to be involved in the feud between HBk and Y2J. HBK taking Jeff under his wing and Jericho claiming his friend decides to befriend the 'enemie') and the wwe had very little use for him. not sure if the details are all true but i think that's the basic reason for him leaving.

I read about this yesterday....apparently Jeff's lost his passion for the business (something Matt Hardy has confirmed for months in interviews). He'd been skipping out on house shows and such. WWE tried to cater to him to get him back in focus, but he's just not getting with the program, so off he goes.

He was good, but if he got no passion for the business, he has no place being in it.

Plus, rumor has it he has a bit of a substance abuse problem. So, that may be part of it. I had heard that he was really involved in a band and was really wanting time off to work on a CD, so perhaps he can do that, fail miserably and then come back to WWE.

He does have a band... and I've heard a cut from one of their songs. Not bad :D

Maybe him and Jericho can tour together! :lol:
