In my opinion,the album of the year comes from veteran shock rock king Alice Cooper. Alice is an underappreciated pioneer in rock. Bands such as Motley Crue,Poison, and others have cited him as an influence. Well in June he just released another album called Brutal Planet which is his most lethal release in many years. It is a rocking album,telling the story of what kind of world we live in. If you are unfamiliar with Alice or have heard just a few songs. Give this one a chance. I have not heard one person after hearing the album say they disliked it, and the revies have been strong. Come on people,come visit the Brutal Planet!

Yes Brutal Planet rocks hard. The heaviest album Cooper ever has given out in my belief. Sadly it's not any 80's sound over it at all but the best "new" metal i've heard in years. I have only heard one song off of Brutal Planet. You are right, it kicked!!!
I never really got into the Coop, but I have heard most of his songs. I have to admit I have yet to hear one that I didn't like!!
