LIVESAY's at it again! We'll be performing at the Birch Hill Nightclub in Old Bridge, NJ on Saturday April 24th. We'll be opening the show for Lynch Mob, and we need all New Jersey Xchanger's help!
This show is faaaaaaar away from our home base, and unfortunately club owners only care about the number of bodies that come through the door. Our fan base from our area probobly won't make the trip down to Old Bridge, and we're being given cards to give out to people. When they buy their tickets at the door or at Ticket Master, they present the card to the guy/gal at the door. The card has our name highlighted. The catch is this...we don't bring at least 75 people to this show, we don't play there again. Now, the Birch Hill is a hard place for an out of town band to break into, and we've been trying for YEARS to get in there. Any NJ xchangers want to come to this show, let me know by contacting me through my email nypbass2@aol.com, and I'll send you a card. You still have to buy a ticket, but the card tells them you're supporting us. C'mon xchangers, we need ya!
We'll also be playing at SLAM in Westbury, Long Island on May 2nd. We'll be opening up for a new band that features the old keyboard player from TNT. Sal, I'd love for you to come to this gig so we can finally meet!
Lastly, we're playing an outdoor festival on Saturday, June 2nd. Last year this festival was attended by over 4,000 people, so it should be a blast. If any NY xchangers want info on it let me know. It's an all day affair with some great bands, and admission is FREE.
Anyway...that's all for now. Hope some of you can make it to the shows...ESPECIALLY the NJ one!!!!
