Things such as grief and stress are all relative. The most painful thing that one person experiences may be nothing compared to what others may have to endure.

Having said that, the past 12-18 months have been the toughest I've ever had to go through in terms of tragedy and stress.

So, for the first time ever we decided to spend a week in the Dominican Republic instead of using all our vacation time going home to Ireland.

Here's a not so good picture of Bogie doing a terrible impersonation of Ursala Andress. But just look at the beach and the ocean :)

Wish you all could have been there too. :D

Thanks everyone. Weather was wonderful the whole week. Only rained on one day and that was only for one hour.

I must say I do feel very refreshed. It was worth it.

No Cal, no over-the-top rum. For once in my life I took it easy on the booze even though it was all free LOL. Relaxation was the main objective :)

Good man Bogie! Glad to see you took some time out for yourself.

YES!!! A man in a bathing suit!:naughty: Glad you had time to relax and play. It looks beautiful. My sisters just got back a couple weeks ago from the Dominican Republic and had a great time.

It's good to get some time away from things when the stress levels get over the top. It'll usually still be there when you get back, but hopefully you didn't have to actually think about it while you were gone. I hope things get better for you.

Looks like that would be a hard place not to relax in. I live in the middle of the dessert, so the only water I get to see is when it rains. That happens about 20 days out of the year.

Some how I miss this Thread - Man that water looks so inviting, I wish I was there!! Looks like you had a great time!! :)
