Yup. Cliff was the guy they really looked up to. He would never had let this happen. He was a metalhead for life - no doubt about that. Metallica used to knock Motley Crue... Atleast they're true to themselves and come out with music I can listen to.

Yes, Cliff was THE man. He didn't care what people thought of him. He didn't try to impress anyone. Remember his style; ragged blue jeans and any old shirt, it didn't matter. Back then, they used to say that they were just regular guys playing on stage and they could just as easily be headbangin in the audience. That was Cliff's attitude and at that time the whole bands attitude. Metallica was just bad*** back then. Ya had to respect them, their music just kicked the sh** out of everybody. When Cliff died, that Metallica died as well. What a loss!!
