JASPER...WHAT DO YOU THINK? ?????
This is just a few days before my birthday..what a great present it would be..if I can get my husband to go. :)
hmmm so the KISS/Aerosmith shows are happening..i am SO there.....i know they will coem this way!
scott28883 4-08-03, 04:16 PM I bet it wont happen. It will be canceled because of HUGE EGOS, more money and big egos and something to do with money and maybe more egos. :p :)
LOSTNTHE80S 4-08-03, 04:20 PM LOL!!! I know what you mean Scott...who gets the better dressing room? Who gets top billing?
There are some great concerts coming up......I would die a happy woman if I could go see REO, STYX, & JOURNEY................... I've seen Journey wayyyyyyyyyyyy back when.
Well, Jana, I vowed to NEVER pay to see KISS again, after shelling out BIG BUCKS for the "original farewell" tour in 1996. BUT, I might have to make an exception, havent seen Aerosmith yet in my life. So, I guess I could use THAT as an excuse.
Caligula 4-08-03, 06:57 PM tickets are pricey- Tickets: On sale - To Be Determined
Reserve seats - $128.00, $89.00
Lawn tickets - $48.00
I shall never pay 50 bucks to sit in grass. No matter WHO is playing.
LOSTNTHE80S 4-08-03, 07:43 PM Tell you what...for only $15.00 I'll let you sit on the grass in our yard and I'll PLAY some Aerosmith cds for ya...how's that? LOL!! I'll even throw in a couple of beers. :)
Jana.. that sounds like a deal!! Wait until after I have the baby and can get a sitter.. then I'll come sit on your lawn and drink beers with ya!
I wouldn't pay $50 for lawn either, Jasper.. and I won't give those boys anymore of my money as well..
LOSTNTHE80S 4-09-03, 07:21 AM Ok Tina..sounds good.
Here's a bonus..my husband said that he'd even be willing to wiggle his toungue a few times like Simmons and set off a few bottle rockets for the pyros LOL!
I mean, cripes, OZZFEST is an ALL DAY show and tickets are HALF that. And speaking of HALF, only HALF of KISS is still actually IN KISS!
Hurry up and have that baby Tinajo, then we can all relax around Janas pool and have a few brews!
LOSTNTHE80S 4-09-03, 06:31 PM You guys are most certainly welcome to come here. Tina, bring the baby..my girls would just love to help out with her. They are 7 & 9. It's heaven out here in the summertime. Our pool is 16' X 32'....4' to 8 1/2' deep. We have a sundeck all around it. I love to BBQ on the patio. I can make some margaritas, or whatever. Put some brews in the tub of ice. We have 2 acres so we could get up a little game of frisbee, croquet, or even some softball. Play some good music. We even have the tiki torches LOL! Think about it :)

THAT DOES IT! Count me in! I'll bring the shotglasses! Who's got the Jagr?
LOSTNTHE80S 4-09-03, 07:06 PM Plenty of P**** around too !!! CATS THAT IS LOL!
Knew that would get your attention Jasper. :) Don't worry about the shotglasses..I have 500 blue clear plastic ones I found at an auction last fall.
If we run out of stuff, we're about 10 min from town or if you don't mind the prices, we're about 3 min away from a place right before you get to the highway extensions. :)
Meant to add also that I make a mean chili cheese dip. Ron..you kind of remind me of my brother in law Jim. He's into wrestling and he's sort of crazy in the head too LOL! (j/k) I'll have to make sure he's here.
Tina..think we need to make nametags for the 2 Joes? Hubby #1 & hubby #2 :)
Plenty of cats? OH NO! *makes mental not to take antihystamines*
Other than that, I AM IN!
LOSTNTHE80S 4-10-03, 06:32 PM Guys and girls...I am serious about this too. I would love to have anyone who can make it to southern Illinois (approx. an hour & 15 min east of St. Louis) over for an afternoon of swimming, food, drinking, more food, chatting, meeting, even more food, great music, maybe some food, ..........did I mention food? I will make you the best grilled cheeeeze you have ever tasted too! LOL!
TC, Val, and whoever else..................you are more than welcome. You east coast xchangers got your turn..and I am still soooo jealous LOL! Now it's our turn..GO MIDWEST!
........and no, it's not just the CORONA talkin'
Jana... that is too cool! I am thinking we need to make it a priority this summer! This is the year we need to do this, I think! You've got me totally excited about it! Jasper... I'm TRYING to hhurry up and have this baby! She's being a typical female! Taking her sweet ass time ;)
Ugly Kid Jeff72 4-11-03, 02:03 AM Wow, and just two days after my birthday! Too bad i'll still be drunk off my ass, and probably miss it. Ohh Well...As far as i'm concerned I seen them for the last time. two years ago on the Farewell Tour! Right? For you all that are going, I hope you have A great time! I might see ya there if I sober up or get free tickets!
Well, TInajo, TRY to have that kid by the 4th of July, and we can all get together then! Oh, and did I hear somebody mention GRILLED CHEESE?
scott28883 4-11-03, 06:48 PM Just annouced, Saliva is opening open the concert for aerosmith and kiss.
Jasper.. I think I'm having the kid today
The 4th of July is a big holiday with my family.. so I might not be able to do it that weekend... I'll most likely be up around South Bend, IN around that time to visit my parents... I DO want to get together though!!!
Well, we need to all find a day in the summer that will be suitable for all the Mid West Exchangers who would care to visit the wonderful land of Illinois!
Agreed!! I'm excited about it, Jasper! It's a nice drive down that way for me.. last year.. Joe's band did a show in Carbondale, Illinoi.. and the drive was nice.. didn't seem too long.. I'm sure it's not that far from there.
