I pulled this off my site....old poll I've had going for years  Who's your fave manager all time? And when I say manager, I'm talking old school style...the kind that actually managed and got involved in matches, not arm pieces ;)
lol This come from our talk Roemy?????
I went with Jim Cornette. Always loved watching him run around with his tennis racket.

Bobby the Brain is the man who made managing! Before him, a manager stood in the background and smoked a cigar. Bobby was, many times bigger than his wrestlers. Especially in his AWA days.
Um, Mr Bigg, I assume you never heard of CAPTAIN LOU ALBANO! The man was a genious! He managed like 14 DIFFERENT tag teams to WWF tag titles. He was a fixture for nearly 20 years.
Bobby isnt worthy to hold Capt. Lou's rubber bands.
it's hard to pick just one but i went with Bobby the Brain. Sometimes the things he did in the ring just made you laugh so hard you couldn't hate him
Gotta go with Heenan as well. He had so many successful wrestlers in his camp. He was also pretty darn hilarious some times.

Yo Jasper, that's Mr. BADD. And, yeah Albano had alot of tag team success, but how many WORLD Champions did he have? Oh yeah... none. Bobby managed 8 tag team champions in AWA, and 4 four in WWF, and is reknowned for being the Brain. Albano is reknowned for being Cyndi Lauper's lap dog, and managing Fabulous Moolah to losing her title afte holding it for 15 years without him.

bobby the brain was the most entertaining mgr and a great annoncer. but i have to agree with jasper, capt lou was a ground breaker and put together/managed some of the greatest tag teams ever and that was back when they didnt let the title change hands. not only were his comments off the wall, catp lou wasnt afraid to mix it up and take his share of beatings.
either way they were both great
mabey we should have a top 5 list on this topic?
and i am not sure but from what i can remember capt lou mang many tag champs. correct me if im wrong but i think he mgd. fuji/saito/ valiant brothers/tanaka/fuji/ samoans/and moondogs. who all had the title a few times each?
Lou was my pick. I only picked him beacause of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show though.
I never got to see him actually. I was to young!

Well, I must say JJ Dillon. He brought the Horsemen to greatness, he was around for when wrestling meant something. True, Heenan and Albano are both incredible managers, but I must give Dillon my nod.
