I remember years ago my ex-girlfriend telling me she liked Overkill. So, the other day when I saw the CD I picked it up. Very cool stuff! I just bought two of their newer CDs today. Both from 1999. My current favorite...

Very cool band indeed Sal. You might want to check out some if their earlier stuff. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks.. I'm really surprised I haven't heard any of their music before. They sounded pretty cool. I will probably buy all of their CDs by this weekend... Remember, it's all new to me! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif This is awesome! hehe

I heard one song. I can't remember the name of it, but it was damn good! Good enough to make me buy it!

Which album to you have, Annual? I bought like 3. One was really bad, though - to me anyway. There were like two last year and one was great...

P.S. Like I posted in the reviews section - Bloodletting, Overkill's latest, is so far so good! The first two songs are great. I bet the rest will be just as good. I will have to complete my Overkill collection very soon..

Sorry I didn't post a reply sooner, Sal. I never really got into Overkill, I don't recall ever owning one of their tapes. I have heard some of their songs over the years and liked most of them. Curious that they never picqued my interest until I recently heard "Let It Burn" from their new Bloodletting cd. I really like that song. Other than Bloodletting, which cd do you like enough to reccomend someone else buy it?
BTW, a lot of people are saying that if you like the new Overkill you will like the new Nevermore even better. Personally, I don't. If I can't understand the vocals I'm not that interested in it. But, that's my opinion, you may want to check it out.

Well, in response to both of you. I just got into Overkill myself. I bought "Under the Influence". Great CD! The other I would recommend, which I think is awesome is "Necroshine"! I didn't like "Coverkill" too much. But I will be buying the rest of their CDs very soon... http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif I'm glad I found them! I really thought that once Metallica was gone, Metal was gone.. I was happily wrong!
