Okay I feel like a idiot trying to explain this but I heard this song on my local 80's/new wave station and I couldn't identify it and it's driving me crazy. I don't even think i've heard it before so it might be new (?)

I can't remember anything about the song (having heard it only once) except:

The verse had male vocals, chorus male then female vocals

The melody was partially supported by a looped synthesized (I think) panpipe/flute

Yup, that's all I have...I thought I'd put you experts to the challenge! Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated. Only through the blissful anonymity of the internet do I post such a shameful thread.

You really need to repeat some of the lyrics. Any words or phrases you can remember from the song?

"Human" by the Human League ????

Something by the Human League would be my guess too from the description.
Can you call the radio station and try to ask them? Phones can provide anonymity too.;)
