I just got my grubby little mitts on the new Iron Maiden album....I know a record store in Staten Island that got the album a little early, and I convinced (i.e.-begged and pleaded!) the owner to sell me the CD before it's official release date, which is next Tuesday.

Let me tell you....this is ORGASMIC!!!! It is classic Maiden in all it's glory! Bruce has never sounded better, and the new producer has brought back the old Maiden sound, bass in the forefront and soaring, melodic guitars over Bruce's air raid siren voice! Do yourselves a favor, BUY THIS ALBUM!!! It is easily the best metal album of the year, and I can't see anything topping it. I can't wait for the concert!!!!

Lucky for some! Yeah, i heard that its meant to be the best Album since their early days. I'll definately be getting it when it comes out.

Guys and gals....after one full day of listening to the album over and over, I have to say without any shadow of a doubt that this is the BEST Maiden album since Powerslave! It ranks among the top three Maiden albums of all time in my books. Thank the Goddess that they didn't put out a "Psycho Circus" type reunion album! Here's to hoping that the new Maiden stays together for at least three more CD's!!!!

You should check out Maidens Web page. You can hear about 30s of every song on their new album and there are some cool screen savers and desktop themes. It was out on the 29th in the UK. I dont know about America though.

Man, I hope this cd is what y'all say it is! I haven't been able to get into Maiden since Powerslave (what a show they put on to support that one). Did you say Bruce Dickinson is back in the band?
I don't keep up with rock news like I should. Hell, I just found out that Rob Halford came out of the closet. What the @#*& is up with that?
