Just bought the new Megadeth album, "The World Needs A Hero" last week & I must say...IT KICKS ASS!!!

I think it's one of the best 'Deth has ever done. I cannot wait to see them later on this summer, if they come close enough to my small town.

Their official site is well done & the band is very involved w/it. Dave Mustaine (as well as the other members) have their own forum where they answer questions, make comments, etc. Dave M. also posts replies on the regular board if he sees something that he wants to talk about, comment on, etc. He's also in their chat room called "Hangar 18" quite often. He seems to be very devoted to his fans.

Very cool place for anyone here who is into Megadeth like I am.

It's a really good album. I'm most impressed with the lyrical content. Some of the guitar work seems standard fare for Megadeth but lyrically... it's one of their best. I still have to finish the CD review for it. I'm so behind. hahaha But I agree with you that it's a really good album.

Dave Mustain is a pretty cool guy. I found a thing on Napster called Dave is pissed and it's hilarious "Why don't you just be cool so that everyone wont beat your ****in brains in and let me play guitar ok? When I'm up here and I hold the freakin microphone I can say what ever I WANT TO!!" Hehehehe, that guy makes me laugh. Great to know he really cares about his fans. That's a really awsome thing.

Watch VH1's Rockshow on May 26 at midnight. They are planning on showing some acoustic footage of Megadeth!
