It's time for yet another movie quote quiz. Looking for movie and character's name.

1. “He was always a rather stupidly optimistic man, I'm afraid it came as a great shock to him when he died.”

2. “What is light without dark?”

3. “I don't care how liberated this world becomes - a man will always be judged by the amount of alcohol he can consume - and a woman will be impressed, whether she likes it or not.”

4. “Nobody leaves this place without singing the blues.”

5. “This is television, that's all it is. It has nothing to do with people, it's to do with ratings! For fifty years, we've told them what to eat, what to drink, what to wear...don't you understand? Americans love television. They wean their kids on it. Listen. They love game shows, they love wrestling, they love sports and violence. So what do we do? We give 'em *what they want*! We're number one, Ben, that's all that counts, believe me. I've been in the business for thirty years.”

6. “I don't belong here, I feel it, don't you think I feel it! I can't do any of these vile things and I wouldn't WANT to. Oh, my life is like death! My children are the spawn of hell, and you're the devil.”

7. “Second shelf is mine. That's where I keep my rootbeers and my double-thick Oreo cookies. Nobody touches the second shelf but me.”

8. “If I can't have you, can I at least have my gator?”

9. “So this is planet Houston.”

10. “Yes, there are thousands and thousands of uses for corn, all of which I'm going to tell you about right now!”

Wasn't #1 Madeleine Kahn's character from Clue? Oh, Mrs. Black or something like that.

Great film wasn't it?

Just looked it up. Mrs. White was the name. She was talking about her first husband if I remember correctly.

Great job everyone. So it appears #6 is the only one left.

Here are a couple of other movies the person who said those lines were in.
(Foul Play, Shampoo and Housesitter)
