Back in the 80's Cyndi owned the Pop Charts!
Today, she is still doing her thing...Independently.

In 2001, Billboard reported Cyndi laupers current release "SHINE" as the most sold and highest jumping cd on the Independent charts. She toured with CHER in 1999 and again in 2001 to promote the new cd. The remix of the single "SHINE" was getting lots of attention from Miami's PARTY 931 to the Gay Clubs world wide.

Cyndi is now done touring with CHER, but she is still doing her shows. There is world that she just might have a major label signing. If so, be expected to see & hear Cyndi again real soon "Back in the Mainstream".

2003, marks the 20th anniversary of the lp "She's So Unusual".
In celebration, we will be having Trivia Contests at LawTown Music . Chances to win are high!!!!! Prizes include the original vinyl lp "Shes So Unusual" plus copies of her new cd "SHINE".
Should be fun, be sure to check out LawTown Music Online.
This contest goes into effect in March 2003.

The concert is the biggest TV event of th year in Norway and can be watched by 200 - 300 million TV viewers around the world.

Norwegian 80's band ( although they've had a very active career after the 80's aswell ) have appeared on this show twice.
