Flashbackradio.com, thanks to Greenway, would like to air at least the first hour of my show. The tenitive day will be Thursday's at 6 (not sure if that is Eastern or Pacific time). As I get more info I will pass it along! This is definitely a good step forward. :)

That is awesome!!!! Flashbackradio.com is pretty cool! I am a member there like Greenway88 as well. I see him requesting a lot of songs. I think that is great that your show is going to be broadcasted on there as well. Maybe they will like it and ask you to do some radio programming dj'ng there too.

now I'm having second thoughts, I just got an e-mail today asking me to play a mix of 80's and 90's. I don't want to do that, it kinda defeats the purpose of "80's" rewind. I really need to think about it.

I thought about it, I will probably play 1 or 2 90's songs per hour. Still not 100% happy about it but I can't pass up this opprotunity. The format will be the same as my Wednesday night show, but it will only be the second two hours without the countdown portion of the show. I'm kinda excited about it :) I now need to make new sweepers and stuff, that will take awhile but, once again, it's worth it.

A little 90's ain't bad considering the opportunity....just make it early 90s!! (like 1990-1992) :lol:

I agree with Roemello

Play something like "Come Undone" or "Ordinary World" by Duran Duran. Most people who like DD or 80's music wouldn't have a problem with something like that playing.

Maybe something by the Soup Dragons like "Im Free" or "Divine Thing"

Just some ideas of something that might sound 80's even though it came out in the 90s

The first show will be this Thursday from 9-11 pm EST. It was thrown together last minute, so forgive the rawness of this one. I will be putting better touches on newer ones.
