I went to like my first concert EVER. It was a straight edge thing that Dan set up and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOO RAD. It was so loud...and so many kewl punks were there...and I had so much fun. Like, I was soo close to the mosh pit. It was soooooo interesting. :D

That sounds like so much fun Shortie! Dang, I loved going to concerts when I was in high school.:dance: Those were some of the greatest memories. Glad ya had such a blast! :D

Some sxe bands from around here were playing. Fight Back, the Foodstamps, Blind Luck, and two others I've forgotten.

I don't want to be in the pit. There were lots of other punks that weren't in the pit too besides me.

It was great...I got to meet some of Doll's old friends from Springfield. :D And there were some gorgeous punks there. mmmmm:licky: :apunk:

I have to agree with Shorite on Not Man's comment.

I'm glad you had a great time Shortie. First concerts are the best. And I'm glad you didn't go into the pit. Mosh pits IMHO are bad things. I got caught in one and almost was trampled to death. :eek:

Mosh pits aren't bad!! Geez! It's my opinion that unless you're already injured.. (or pregnant ;) ).. you should be in the mosh pit.. although I can't imagine a decent pit at a "punk" concert...

I would have to agree with you Tina on mosh pits. I only go to concerts that have pretty good mosh pits.

Punk is punk to me... I don't see the difference... anyway... you won't see the same type of mosh pits at ANY punk concert than at a death metal concert...

Mosh Pits scare me. I go to a concert to see and hear the band, not getting kicked in the head or pushed all over the place by (mostly, not all) drunken and high people. As a visually impaired person I should have the right to stand near the front of the stage without being bothered by a mosh pit. This is my opinion though and if you want to go into a mosh pit that's your choice. I just wish they weren't right in the front of the stage.

Mosh Pits are like piranhas........they "weed'' out the weak.

And no all mosh pits aren't bad listen to Slayer's Decade of Aggression and you will hear Tom Araya telling the crowd that if someone goes down to help that person out. :cool:
