Yeah, that's a figure for all at one time. No glitches either, but what could've happened is a few AOL users were browsing as guests and since the IP's are dynamic, each time it changes, it duplicates the user for each page the person visits. It doesn't do this once you've logged in, but as a guest AOL user, it tends to do that :p

I was here, but I didn't see no 42 members at once :lol:...then again, I wasn't paying too much attention to the who's online thingie either :p Who knows?

Where are all these people on Friday and Saturday nights when I'm up late?

I thought that I remembered one time we had over 70 people online? Could be wrong, but I could almost swear that it's correct.

That mighta been under UBB...any stats from that got canned when we switched boards since who's online was a hack on UBB, not standard like vB.

Or you might be thinking of a hack Sal put in at one time and got rid of pretty quick where it counted all users on-line during the course of the day...although I think that topped off in the 100's :D

I don't think I've ever seen more than 5 users on at one time. I'm usually here between 8pm-2am Pacific, and spend an hour or two checking things out....

Holy hell! It must have been a bunch of AOL guests, because I was on here yesterday around that time, and there were no 57 guests.

Actually there is much more active places....I frequent the vB hacking community and there's always at least 60+ people browsing there...at least 30 to 40 are registered members. With a most ever online at once record of 541 :bigeek:

As 80s sites go, we're unquestionably the busiest, but as forums go...we're pretty small compared to some of the giants out there :eek:
