My best childhood memory was in November of 1981, when my parents finally gave in and bought 2 puppies after my 12 years of begging for just one:D They were English Springer Spaniel littermate brothers.

My worst childhood memory was December of 1972, when I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and spent Xmas 200 miles away from home in a Los Angeles hospital. The routine spinal taps rate pretty high in my worst memories too!

Best: getting a Commodore 64 for Christmas ('87?)

Worst: getting yelled at by the Vice Principal all the time in Grade 1 ('83-'84). For some reason he seemed to just have it in for me at every turn.

AHHHH! I know that feeling! I think I mentioned this before on here but my best childhood memory too was when my parents bought my brother and I a brand new Commodore 64 in 1983 (back when they were new and the latest 'thing') - it had one of those genuine Commodore monitors, a 1541 disk drive and two type 1 joysticks. I remember running around, overwhelmed with excitement and I accidently knocked some things off the shelf in the kitchen. I went totally nuts when my parents surprised us with it! I will never EVER forget that day.

I don't have any bad childhood memories I think that's why I'm here on the XCHANGE, reliving it :)

Well, I didn't quite get that crazy :) but I do remember phoning my friend within minutes to tell him what I got (something I never did on a Christmas before or after!)

Best childhood memory: The family holidays and one particular school camp in 1978.

Worst childhood memory: At a Boy's camp when I was about 8 and this bigger boy in the dormitory had a pocket knife and was saying how he was going to get me while I was asleep. (Fortunately my childhood memories were mainly good ones)
