Michael Jackson's been a freakshow for a decade and a half...Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown have gone from penthouse to crackhouse...Pete Townshend's accused of being a kid-toucher...The Grim Reaper is paying unexpected visits to our favorite musicians from all genres...Adam Ant, Sebastian Bach and a half-dozen others have been accused of having lost their minds...

Sorry, I'm just venting. It's a bad time to be a music fan right now.

For nearly 50 years, it was sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll...

Now the collectors are coming, the fat's in the fire, the four horsemen are galloping, and the music industry's f*cked like a duck.

John...this is going on all around us all the time. You don't have to be a celeb to be accused, do drugs, die an untimely death, towns have eccentric people, etc... They make it big time news because of their fame.

Excellent post John but I think this is just another year in Music. Every year brings its Tragedies and I think this one is no different.

I totally understand with the deaths. Too many and on top of that many have been MAJOR stars. :(
