Hello all.

Tell me the title of the track and the artist AND the year these numbers were filling our lives with (possibly) joy...

1. '...and I said oh no sir, I must say your wrong...'

2. '...I intend to rest my head my soul keeps the night I dreed...'

3. '...and there's a thin line between love and crime, and in this situation...'

4. '...we can go where we want to, night is young and so am I...'

5. '...Jump back, what's that sound? Here she comes...'

6. '...you just walk right in walk walk walk right in...'

7. '...I'm just an average man with an average life...'

8. '...A ladies Adonas, working after hours, ripples on my chest, never got a nights rest...'

9. '...So you think I got an evil mind, I tell you honey...'

10. '...feel it when they turn the screw. Kick you round the world, there aint a thing that you can do...'

How did you go? One in your mind, but can't get it?
I'll put the answers up soon...

3. '...and there's a thin line between love and crime, and in this situation...'

This is "In The Night" by the Pet Shop Boys from 86.

8. '...A ladies Adonas, working after hours, ripples on my chest, never got a nights rest...'

This is "Male Stripper" by Man 2 Man Meet Man Parish from 87 (I think it was 87.)

I think we have a case of misheard lyrics.

'...A ladies Adonas' is actually A lady's hundred dollars

Nope. Gonna have to say no to that one. It was more like '82 to '83. I was in high scholl when that song was out and I graduated in '85. Pretty sure it was late '82 or early '83.
