Okay, some of this you can bank on, some of it is probably rumor. But, after surfing some of my fave sites, I have some exciting things to report:

Cinderella, Whitesnake, Night Ranger and Scorpions all have greatest hits cds coming out later this year and early next year!

Dio has a greatest hits cd coming out called "The Very Beast of..."

Doro Pesch is going to open for Dio in the US in October and November!!

A rumor is out that Megadeath will be leaving the Maximum Rock Tour with Motley Crue, no reason was given.

Bruce Dickinson announced that the next Iron Maiden cd will be live, followed by a new studio cd. Looks like their classic lineup is here to stay for awhile! Their live cds are great, this will be a must have!!

Skid Row drummer Charlie Mills has been replaced by ex-Saigon Kicks drummer Phil Verone.

Dee Snider has announced that Twisted Sister will reunite in the very near future...no other details given, except about his performance at Wicken Festival where he performed mostly song from the Stay Hungry era.

Slash has eluded to the "possibility" of a GNR reunion! Personally, I think this is a rumor, but one can still hope!

Van Halen have announced the tracklist for their new album but not who the singer is. Michael Anthony says, "They will make that announcement when the time is right. It's going to be huge. It's a name people will know." If its not DLR or Sammy, I'm giving up on 'em.
