Didja know that Motley Crue formed in L.A. in 1981?

Vince Neil was fired from the band after their 6th album, Dr. Feelgood, had been released.

The band's 7th album featured John Corabi on vocals. It was a self-titled album that sold over a million copies, released in 1994.

Neil came back for their 8th album in 1997.

Tommy Lee left in 1999 to form a metal-rap band, Methods Of Mayhem.

What cha got? :)

Nikki Sixx's real name is Frank Ferrana.

Their first album Too Fast For Love (on their own small, independent Lethur Records label) sold a surprising 20,000 copies.

That original '81 Leathur Records version of TFFL was re-mixed for the '82 reissue on Elektra. That Elektra remix has been the 'official' version ever since.

Nikki dated/lived with Lita Ford back in the early 80s

Nikki and Lita practiced Black Magic, which is where Nikki got a lot of ideas to write 'Shout At the Devil'

Vince Neil lost his daughter, Skyler, to cancer

Nikki wrote 'You're All I Need' to an ex girlfriend who cheated on him with Jack Wagner, who had a big hit in the 80s with a song bearing a similar title

Tommy Lee met Heather Locklear, whom he later married, at an REO Speedwagon concert

Mick Mars' real name is Bob Deal

Nikki was once engaged to Prince protegee', Vanity

Tommy was engaged to another Prince girl, his ex wife to be exact, Mayte Garcia

Nikki wrote 'Looks That Kill' about Lita Ford

My head is full of useless trivia about Motley Crue. :D
