Someone forwarded this to me...and I edited it for you. Seriously, the typing errors and little admonitions to 'send it on or you must be a horrible person' really irks me for some reason.

But, instead of spamming your e-mails, I thought I'd put it in here for all my Xchange friends....and, just maybe, there is a little wish or two you'd like to add for your friends here. :)

Hi everyone:

May we all appreciate the little things in life, and put good friends at the top of our list! Life gets so busy sometimes that we forget how important friends can be in the hard times we face.

Today, I wish you a day of ordinary miracles...
A fresh pot of coffee you didn't have to make yourself.
An unexpected phone call from an old friend.
Green stoplights on your way to work or shop.

I wish you a day of little things to rejoice in...
The fastest line at the grocery store.
A good sing along song on the radio.
Your keys right where you look.

I wish you a day of happiness and perfection - little bite-size pieces of perfection that give you the funny feeling that the Lord is smiling on you, holding you so gently because you are someone special and rare.

I wish You a day of Peace, Happiness and Joy.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them.

So true! That was really nice to post Val. ;) I know I'll never forget the special friends and relationships I have here on the xchange.

For everyone, I hope that today:

Your cell phone does not ring with an annoying person on the other end.

Your significant other is in a cheerful mood.

Not one single telemarketer calls you.

No one flushes a toilet while you are enjoying your shower.

Your Dog/Cat does not roll in something hideous and then attempt to share the experience with you.

The person paying by check in the checkout line ahead of you already has the check made out, has proper ID, and no coupons.

The next time you spot the jerk that passed you driving like a lunatic, he/she is getting a ticket.

Your boss has to take the day off for whatever reason.

And of course, you find something that makes you laugh. Even if no one else around you gets the joke.

Don't we all wish! Especially at this time of year! That was a great wish list, SK! Love it! :)

I wish you all have enough to eat, many blankets, a good heating unit, too many friends, too much love, and just enough family. ;)

I also wish that everyone remembers those who don't have all those things. If you can spare it, by all means, share it. :)
