Well, due to the tremendous snowfall in good ol' NY, I took the day off from work.

I slept in, got in some computer time, worked on cleaning up my room, completed watching my DVD of "Action Jackson" and caught up on some reading.

Did anybody else in the New York area take the day off?

OPC you gotta be kidding me :lol: Take a day off because of the snow? Upstate things have to get really nasty before this is even considered. :) Anyway hope you enjoyed your day off.

That's something I neglected to mention...things did get really nasty. There were quite a few inches of snow in my town.

I don't drive to work...my mom drives me. There were several inches of snow on the ground and it was falling all day. She didn't want to risk crashing, so I took the day off.

Roads will be clear tomorrow, and I'll be going to work then.

I am not able to take the day off.... so you are very lucky.
If i had a day off I would catch up on some house work that has been neglected.

I wish I could have a snow day!
We actually did have a snow day here in Florida in 1977 or 1978?
It was so cold that the heat wouldn't come on in the schools, so we got to go home early and take the following day off!
And it actually flurried too!

I had the day off. I was supposed to sub today, but school was cancelled. There is a two hour delay tomorrow, too.

I worked. Only one of my appoitments cancelled. We got about 5 inches of snow but by midday it had cleared up enough for people to get around easier. :)

If I had the day off, I I would put on my hotrod flame boxer shorts, cook up an enormous breakfast and jump up and down on the couch practicing my rock poses & air guitar solos to whatever's on the stereo, and then I'd go running up and down my pollished floors in my socks (until something get's knocked over or broken lol!) and then I'd make a really bizarre drink out of icecream, sarsaparilla and chocolate topping and anything else I can find, and then I'd sit out on the balcony in a comfortable layback chair and drink it though one of those twirly straws with a mini umbrella and cherry, and then I'd probably go and spend the rest of the day at the beach :)
