A very good friend of mine has been contacted by Tears for Fears. They are apparently shopping for a producer and people to mix their first single. My friend has previously remixed several #1 hits for different artists.

I read on the net, that he wants to return to the sound that brought them there, circa THE HURTING and someone posted on a fansite that he was thinking of doing a re-recording of that very song. Its a shame that the record companies don't have as much loyalty to the artists as we do...
