I really like the actors on the list, but i really used to drool over Corey Haim, River Phoenix, Christian Slater, Charlie Schlatter and Patrick Dempsy.

This probably had to be the toughest vote I ever had to make on the 80sxchange Awards. I had so many favorites like Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Matt Dillion, etc. I chose one though that I thought was underrated and was really funny....John Cusack. I even enjoy his movies he has out today.

I would have voted for Charlie Sheen if he had been on that list, but I'm happy to vote for his brother Emelio.

I voted for John Cusack. Out of all of the actors listed, he's had the most sustained career over the years. He's always had that boyish charm and still looks basically the same as he did in 1985! :thumb:

I was so in love with Judd Nelson in the 80s, I had to vote for him.:love:
However, his current work isn't so hot.:rolleyes:
John Cusack was great too, and he still can make good movies.;)

I voted 'other.' I liked a few from the list, but the most successful career to be spawned in the 80s (I think, anyways) was Tom Cruise. ;)

I see ValJ and I are on the same page with this one. Any reason why Tom Cruise was left out or was it just an oversight?

Still trying to decide who gets my vote: ROB, JUDD, or ANDREW.

All the actors on this list were really good...but I did narrow it down to these three.

This poll is now closed. There was a tie, but after going through the posts I tallied up the votes in the "other" option. It was 3 for Tom Cruise (sorry, I didn't get him on the list) & the other 2 votes were not specific on who they were voting for (Blitzkid and LOSTNTHE80S) because they mentioned multiple choices. So, with that in mind, John Cusack is the winner of the best young actor of the 80s.
