I checked my emailbox...and found an email stating that AT40 Flashback will be no more at year's end. :cry:

They cancelled the Oldies countdown on the station I work at too. :( These were the best shows for a chart geek like me.

JS, is that just at the radio station you listen to or all radio stations carrying that show?

AT40 Flashback will end its end by the end of the year, according to the email I read Friday.

Mix 98.7 had already dropped the show back in September.

That is bad news. I really enjoyed listening to the Flashback shows. I'm glad I got some of them on tape.

I agree. I enjoyed AT40 Flashback while it could be had on Jackson radio.

Do you know the company that made the show? Was it MJI?

This is sad news. I've only listened to the show a few times, but it was always nice to hear a countdown from a year in the 80s in its entirety. Brought back lots of wonderful memories... :(

Premier Radio Network produces AT40 Flashback. I heard PRN will lay off about 100 employees soon.
