Do you have any idea how many celebrities have been involved in or passed on due to airplane and automobile accidents? It really proves that it doesn't matter who you are....accidents happen to the best of us.
Keep in mind that we don't need any sick jokes in here, just info. :p ;)
1982 - As Randy Rhoads, Rachel Youngblood, and their pilot attempted to buzz the tour bus of Ozzy Osbourne, the plane crashed into a house, killing all three of them.
1985 - Singer Rick Nelson (of Ozzie & Harriet fame, father to the Nelson twins), five members of his Stone Canyon band, and his fiance were killed on the way to a New Year's Eve performance when their plane crash landed. Two people survived.
1989 - Guitarist Izzy Stradlin, of Guns N' Roses was arrested for smoking in a non-smoking area and urinating on the carpet during a flight.
1980 - Drummer for The Marshall Tucker Band, Tommy Caldwell, died in an auto accident near his home.
1986 - Cliff Burton, bassist for Metallica, died when the band's tour bus flipped over.
1984 - When Vince Neil, lead singer of Motley Crue was driving under the influence, he had an accident that resulted in the death of Hanoi Rocks drummer, Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley.
1982 - Singer Teddy Pendergrass was paralyzed from the waist down after severing his spinal cord in a car accident. 1986 - He was injured again when his specially equipped van crashed into a utility pole.
1984 - Country singer, Barbara Mandrell, was seriously injured in a car accident.
Although not copied word for word, I got this information from a site called 'Celebrate Today', which deals with special events, fear of flying, and so on. :) You'd be amazed at the info I didn't post!
