It's getting to be that time of the year (fortunately or unfortunately). Anyone wait till the last minute to battle the crowds?:D

i keep buying myself lots of presents.

today i bought a long sleeve red shirt and a brown hoodie.

could use a new pair of vans, but their models really suck right now.

I've picked up a few things here and there, but nothing big. I try to get past the birthdays first. Steffy's is the last one of the year and it isn't until October 31st.

My very simple answer: No, I haven't started Christmas shopping yet! :lol:

I'm with you Rhelawen :) I always leave it to the very last minute and I always get caught up the the masses of psycho shoppers who do the same (and a battle it is Sarg!).

I've done a little bit already. I did get my niece a book that I enjoyed as a kid. I usually don't start my shopping until after November 1st. I do most of my shopping online and just have the items shipped to the people. Last year, I did a lot of gift baskets for people. The best one I sent was to my sister and brother-in-law. I sent them a 70s Decade box from http://www.hometownfavorites.com. It's a gift box full of candies that were big in the 70s. They have an 80s Decade box, which is new.

Ok..so everyone on the xchange will hate me for this but~~~~ I AM FINISHED with my shopping! I pick up things here and there during the year. I make baskets for family and friends..also the teachers. (coffees, teas, homemade breads, candies, theme baskets, etc..) I look for bargains on these items to fill them up with and then grab them. When the girls metion something that they would like, I hunt for the sales or shop on the internet ( right now, we have a super nintendo w/ about 17 games, a gameboy color w/ about 10 games, hit clips, and alot of other things hidden in the attic for them).

Ashton's birthday is Nov. 23,my brother's is Nov. 30, my husband's is Dec. 13, my brother in law's is Dec. 27, my nephew's is Jan. 3, Tiffani's is Feb. 12. I HAVE to shop early! :)

Geez...I'm almost finished! :p Slowpokes!! I love Christmas, love shopping...but finances are tight, so I've been working on the "Layaway" plans. ;)

My son is done, except for stocking stuffers. My husband and I are getting new bedding, a new cool-touch deep fryer, and, still in layaway, a steam carpet cleaner. :D May sound weird, but I can't wait to break that baby in! :lol:

I need to buy one more thing for my best friend and her hubby, something for her son, and something for my in-laws. That's all the shopping I do. If I were rich, I'd buy for everyone I know, especially the kiddies, but, alas....life is what it is. ;)

X-mas shopping?????????? Way too early to even think of that yet!!!!!!!!

:lol: I don't hate you Jana, Im already done too. I had the presents for Samhain for my Wiccan friends done in June... I always shop early :):) Ha ha! :mwaha:

I pick up little things here and there throughout the year. I love buying things for people anyway so I store it in my spare room closet til Christmas. It makes things so much easier. The big gifts I wait til later because things can change so quickly. :D

I did forget to mention something that I'm doing for the girls also..I bought them each a portable cd player (like a walkman..not the xpensive kind though, they are still young) They enjoy alot of my cds and have some of their own so I am burning them each copies of my cds they enjoy and filling up a 60 capacity cd holder. (right now, Ashton's fave 80's songs are KISS ME DEADLY (LITA FORD) & EDGE OF A BROKEN HEART (VIXEN). Tiffani Loves POISON'S version of ROCK AND ROLL ALL NIGHT.

I haven't been "officially" Christmas shopping yet. I've only got one thing so far. I saw the new 20th anniversary edition of Trivial Pursuit and had to get it for my husband. It's a tradition that every time a new edition comes out we get it for Christmas, so I'm all set there.:D The kids have had lists made since August, but I'll get to them after we make it thru Halloween.;)
